TELEPHONE CONSULTATION

We follow the same procedures for our PHONE consultations as we do in our offices. After you contact us we set up an appointment time for you to call us. The consultation will last between one and two hours. The first part of every consultation is ob taining a thorough behavioral and medical history. If possible, we would like you to either fax or send us your dog’s medical records before the appointment. After obtaining your dog’s history your veterinary behaviorist will provide you with: a diagn osis and explanation of your dog’s behavior problem, a personalized treatment plan, and handouts to help you implement the program. If drug therapy is recommended we will be contacting your veterinarian to prescribe the specific medication. If training is part of your program, we will work with a trainer in your area. Photographs or a 10-15 minute videotape of your dog’s misbehavior in action are helpful (but not required). Follow-ups are done either on-line, by fax, or by phone or e-mail. info@petbehaviorproblems.com

The fee is $200.00 (U.S.). This covers the entire program and follow-ups. The fee also gives you a 3-month subscription to our PetLine magazine. If you are interested in our PHONE consultation service please either call or fax us:
